COMMUNITY | Love it or lose it

John and Linda try to support the community and engage in some civic responsibility when we can. Our consultancy is about strong places, communities and organisations, so we learn much by participating in and contributing to community groups, projects and organisations.

In 2008 we’re set for a busy year supporting our community:

:: John has just been made a life member of Access Arts, a dynamic state based arts and disability organisation, after leaving the Board. He was President of Access Arts for five years. He didn’t have much of a breather as the very next day he was elected as Secretary of the South East Queensland Indigenous Chamber of Commerce. John is also a member of the Advisory Board of the state government initiative Queensland Indigenous Arts Marketing and Export Agency.

:: Linda continues her voluntary involvement with the Ministerial Regional Community Forum for the Greater Brisbane region and takes on involvement with Architects without Frontiers. She also continues in her role as Chair of the Board of the Australian Network for Art and Technology.
